Our Process is Proven! Here's What You Can Expect When You Hire Diamondback Roofing to Replace Your Roof.

Professional Roof Installation, Clean-Up, And Follow-Up

Every roofing project starts out with a consultation. We walk through your current roof assembly, what needs and desires you have for your new roof and the products we can use to paint your vision.

Upon your selection of roofing products, we compile a detailed proposal supplemented with a submittal package including product data for the roofing products selected and sample warranties. This will be sent over to you with the contract and a preliminary construction schedule. Upon your review, we will be happy to answer any question needed over the phone, through virtual meeting, or in person.

On the morning of your new roof installation, the roofing materials will be dropped off in your driveway or a designated location. A dumpster will be dropped off to gather waste from the removal of your existing roof.

We carefully lay out tarps and build protective devices over fragile plants and sensitive areas of your property and home. Our workers will begin removing the old roof only after your property is thoroughly protected.

After the old roof has been removed, we carefully inspect the existing decking for signs of rot and defective installation. A line item is included in the proposal and contract outlining the cost to replace each sheet of plywood. Per your preference selected in the contract, we will either replace the plywood or contact your for approval prior to replacement. Any damaged roof decking will be replaced before proceeding.

Depending on the system purchased and manufacturer requirements, we install ice and water barrier and a fiberglass reinforced felt underlayment for superior moisture protection. We replace all vents, flashings and install new drip edge around the roofs perimeter. gutters are installed at this time if included in your reroof package.

Our professionals install the roofing system that you’ve selected using techniques which surpass your local building codes. All systems adhere to roofing manufacturer installation practices.

We meticulously clean your property, ensuring that all construction debris has been removed.

Upon completion, your Diamondback manager will carefully inspect the entire project – from your property grounds to the ridge cap, ensuring that our strict installation standards have been adhered to. The final inspection is then completed with the appropriate permitting jurisdiction (city or county)

Your warranties, manufacturer maintenance documents and finalized permit are issued to you per your preference – Physical copies mailed or digital copies via email (or both).

Do you really need a new roof? Maybe not...

At Diamondback Roofing & Waterproofing, we’re not in the business of pushing reroofs on our customers as a first option, unless requested. You can count on us to complete thorough inspections in order to analyze the integrity and life of your existing roof covering, gutters and downspouts. With our thorough inspection process, we’ll provide you with pictures of areas of concern, repairs required, consultation and quotes. For more information on inspections, check out our Complimentary Roof Inspections.

While reroofing your home or investment property is usually the last project or expense that any owner wants to take on, it’s critical in maintaining the integrity of the entire structure. Sometimes it’s absolutely necessary. The average roof that’s currently installed on most homes will outlast the warranty when properly maintained. Check out our Roof Maintenance services for more information. When neglected, water damage and rot spreads infectiously fast, resulting in damage to multiple other facets of the house, most of which wont present evidence of damage until it has already occurred. In many cases, you’ll have a harder time selling your home if there is evidence of an expired roof. Most lenders require a roof to have at least two years of life left in order to close, even with a conventional loan.
